Business redesign project #1

Challenge: Implementation of complete new business processes combined with the implementation of a new common ERP system, for several organisations across Europe.

Solution: Focusing on each entity’s unique circumstances, a change vision was created that was aligned with the overall strategic initiatives. Creating awareness of the to-be way of working. Identifying, addressing and bridging the gaps between the as-is and the to-be way of working. Appointing change agents and guiding them to become super users in order to support their colleagues in daily business.

Business redesign project #2

Challenge: A new joint management was created for several legal entities with a range of activities, identities and cultures as well as with a geographical spread across Sweden. The challenge was to have everyone strive in the same direction.

Solution: Creation of a genuine vision statement including, mission, core values, KPI’s and strategies. Through a wide range of activities the concept was implemented and sustained throughout the organisations. It engaged all employees as well as external stakeholders, such as customers and suppliers.

Stena Sphere:

Concordia Maritime, Stena Fastigheter, Northern Marine Management, Stena Bulk, Stena Metall, Stena RoRo, Stena Line and Adactum

Challenge: To increase awareness of the Stena Sphere in Stockholm and in the Baltic region as well as increase the investment interest for the publically noted Concordia Maritime.

Solution: Creating a full corporate event with the naming of the tanker Stena Primorsk as the center activity in the middle of Stockholm. Targeting investment banking a seminar was held at the Hilton Slussen Hotel, with Bianca Jagger and Dr Martin Stopford as keynote speakers. In the naming ceremony, HRM Queen Silvia was the Godmother of the tanker. In the evening a gala dinner with some of the most well-known Swedish celebrities performing took place. The following day a family event was held at Skeppsbrokajen where the number of visitors was estimated to approximately 40.000 by the Stockholm Police.

Taxi Göteborg

Challenge: Taxi Göteborg is one of the largest taxi companies in the city of Gothenburg, Sweden. However independent free-riders copied the identity of the Taxi Göteborg vehicles hence benefitting by passing off as them.

Solution: The existing branding was supplemented with an additional décor, a characteristic vintage picture of a taxi driver called Stig, and the text “The Original since 1922”. This was accompanied by an ambitious and thorough communication package both internally in the organisation as well as towards external stakeholders. As icing on the cake the free-riders were taken to court for trademark infringement.
